YJ-IP900 Insulin infusion pump
An insulin pump is a manually controlled insulin delivery device that mimics the body's physiological insulin secretion
pattern through continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII).
It consists of three parts: the pump unit, the reservoir, and the infusion tubing.
It can continuously deliver a small amount of insulin (basal rate) to the body 24 hours a day,
and administer additional doses (large doses) before meals based on carbohydrate content,
thereby effectively controlling blood sugar throughout the day.
It also allows patients greater flexibility in the timing and amount of their meals.
