1. Before the test, prepare blood collection tools, blood glucose meters and blood glucose test strips, and operate in strict accordance with the requirements of the operation manual of the blood glucose meter, and measure within the appropriate operating temperature range of the blood glucose meter product.

2. To clean the blood collection site, you can wash your hands with soap and warm water, use 75% ethanol to disinfect the blood collection site, and do not choose other disinfectants that interfere with the test, such as iodophor. After the ethanol is dry, blood can be collected. After the blood collection needle punctures the skin, gently press the blood to flow out naturally. After gently wiping off the first drop of blood with a sterile cotton ball, drop the second drop of blood into the designated area on the test strip area.

3. Do not squeeze too hard after puncturing the skin, so as not to mix the tissue fluid into the blood sample and cause deviations in the results. It is recommended to draw a sufficient amount of blood sample at one time, do not press or move the blood glucose test strip or blood glucose meter during the test, and record the test results of blood sugar. If the test results are suspicious, it is recommended to test again.
