Transabdominal B-ultrasound is troublesome because it needs to hold back the urine, while vaginal B-ultrasound is relatively simple. The instrument used is the same as that of abdominal B-ultrasound. The difference is a unique probe. The probe must be put on during inspection. A layer of film (usually a condom is used), and then the probe is inserted into the vagina for inspection to explore the pelvic cavity.
