The routine monitoring of the bedside monitor includes:

1. Electrocardiogram and heart rate monitoring: It mainly depends on the heart rhythm of the patient. If there is an abnormality, an electrocardiogram is also needed, because most of the electrocardiograms on the electrocardiogram monitor can only display one lead, and a lot of information is still incomplete, and more needs to be done. Comprehensive 12-lead ECG or 18-lead ECG, so the purpose of this monitoring is to find the patient's abnormal heart rhythm and monitor it dynamically. The heart rate is mainly used to monitor the number of heartbeats of the patient, and the range of normal people is 60-100 beats per minute. If it is too fast or too slow, it must be dealt with.
2. Blood pressure monitoring: monitor the patient's systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and mean arterial pressure. The blood pressure of normal people has a range: 90-120/60-90mmHg, generally higher or lower than this index indicates a problem. The doctor needs to find out the cause and deal with it. When monitoring non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), directly tie the cuff of the monitor. Generally, the measurement is performed with one inflation. The shortest monitoring time is 3 minutes, which is a discontinuous measurement value. In invasive blood pressure (IBP) monitoring, it is generally necessary to prevent indwelling needles in the patient's arteries. After connecting the pressure transducer, the monitor can continuously display the patient's blood pressure. These two types of monitoring generally only use the same type of monitoring, unless there are special circumstances (for example, the two are very different, the blood vessel condition is not good, and they should be used at the same time)

3. Monitoring of blood oxygen (also referred to as pulse oxygen) and respiratory rate: The blood oxygen saturation of the patient is mainly determined by the patient's oxygen supply, which is mainly determined by the patient's breathing condition. Normal people are above 95%, if it is lower than This value needs to be analyzed and dealt with. The breathing rate depends on the patient's breathing rate and rhythm per hour. Normally, it is 12-20 breaths per minute. It is a problem if it is too fast or too slow.
4. Respiration rate and respiration waveform, depending on the patient’s respiration frequency and rhythm.
Generally, each item has a normal value or normal range. When the value is not within the normal range, the doctor will see it, consider the reason, and intervene. These items on the monitor are the items that every patient must use. They have become the eyes of the ICU medical staff, and everyone often overlooks its role.
