1. Plug in the power to turn on the defibrillator and confirm to turn off the sync key.
2. Select the paddle lead to quickly observe the heart rhythm.
3. Determine the heart rhythm: ventricular fibrillation, pulseless ventricular tachycardia.
4. Apply conductive paste: evenly spread the conductive paste on the electrode plate.
5. Choose the right energy.
6. Charging: Press the charging button, the defibrillator will automatically charge until the display shows the required value.
7. Place the electrode plates: place the second intercostal space on the right edge of the sternum and the fifth intercostal space on the left anterior axillary line respectively.
8. Clearance: Confirm that no one touches the bedside.
9. Discharge: Press the discharge button with both hands at the same time.
