The steam generated under a certain pressure has high humidity and strong penetrating power, which can kill microorganisms quickly and effectively. It is one of the main methods of sterilizing equipment. It is characterized by reliable sterilization, economy, rapidness, and good sterilization effect. The basic structure is as follows [2]:

Pressure vessel: including sterilization chamber, jacket, door, and other parts permanently connected to the sterilization chamber. It is made of stainless steel and has a layer of insulation material.

Sterilization room: a space for items to be sterilized

Jacket: Surround the stainless steel structure welded on the surface of the sterilization chamber to achieve mechanical reinforcement and temperature control of the sterilization chamber.

Piping system

Steam inlet pipeline: It is directly connected with the steam source, and the steam is sent to the sterilization room or jacket.

Steam drain line: drain the steam condensate.

Sterilization chamber discharge pipeline: connects the sterilization chamber and the discharge pipeline, and is the channel through which the gas and condensate in the sterilization chamber are discharged to the outside.

Water supply pipeline: Provide working water source for the sterilizer.

Air return pipeline: Connect the sterilization chamber to the atmosphere. When the inner chamber is dry, a vacuum is formed. The return air pipeline makes the inner chamber and the outside atmosphere balanced.

Automatic door and sterilization chamber sealing assembly

Use compressed air or steam to seal the automatic door and the sterilization chamber.
