- Skin treatment and electrode placement
1. If there is dirt or excessive hair on the skin where the electrode is placed, the skin should be cleaned or shaved in advance.
2. Electro-paste (the dosage form is divided into: paste, cream and solution, etc.) should be used to rub the skin where the electrode is placed, rather than just applying the conductive paste to the electrode. In addition, try to avoid using cotton swabs or brushes with saline or alcohol or even tap water instead of conductive paste, because the contact impedance between the skin and the electrode is large, and the polarization potential is also very unstable. Cause baseline drift or other artifacts, especially those with dry skin or more sebum, the artifacts are more serious.

3. In strict accordance with the international uniform standards, the conventional 12-lead ECG electrodes are accurately placed (with photos). Other chest wall leads should be added when necessary. Women with sagging breasts should hold up the breasts and place the V3, V4, and V5 electrodes on the chest wall at the lower edge of the breast instead of on the breast.
4. When tracing the V7, V8, V9 lead ECG, you must lie supine, and you should not trace the ECG in the lateral position. Therefore, the electrodes on the back should be flat suction cup electrodes or temporarily attached and connected with disposable ECG monitoring electrodes. Wire instead

Do not put the electrodes connected to the left and right lower limbs on one lower limb for the convenience of the diagram, because the current electrocardiographs are all placed on one lower limb, because the current electrocardiographs are equipped with a "right lower limb counter-drive" circuit, which can To effectively suppress AC interference, the above method is equivalent to canceling this function, thereby reducing the performance of anti-AC interference. At this time, although the operator can use "AC filtering" to reduce the interference, but at the same time the ECG waveform is distorted.
