Precautions when using the oximeter
1. The ximeter cannot be shared with MRI or CT equipment.
2. The ximeter be used as an alarm device. This device has no alarm function.
3. Explosion hazard: Do not use this monitor in an environment with flammable anesthetic gas.
4. The oximeter only plays an auxiliary role in the diagnosis of the patient. Ask the doctor to make a diagnosis based on the clinical manifestations and symptoms.
5. Check the test points of the oximeter sensor from time to time to confirm that the skin of the patient at the sensor test point is intact and the circulation is in good condition.
6. The sensor of the finger clip pulse oximeter is not suitable for contact with the adhesive tape. This situation may cause the measurement data to be wrong or mistakenly believe that the tested skin has blisters.
7. Please read this manual carefully before use.
8. The oximeter has no blood oxygen alarm function and cannot be used as a long-term continuous monitor.
9. When used for a long time or periodically change the test points according to different conditions of the patient. For the longest time, the test points must be changed every 4 hours and the integrity of the patient's skin must be checked and the correct adjustments must be made.
10. Autoclaving, vinyl oxide disinfectant, or immersing the sensor in a liquid disinfectant can cause false readings.
11. Disorders of important indicators of hemoglobin (such as carbon hemoglobin or methemoglobin) can cause false readings.
12. Excessive dyes in blood vessels, such as indocyanine green or sub-blue will cause false readings.
13. The measurement method of blood oxygen saturation will be affected by the strong light of the surrounding environment. If necessary, add a protective shell to the sensor (for example: wipe with a disinfectant towel or direct sunlight)
14. Unexpected movements of the patient can cause false readings.
15. The interference of medical high-frequency signals can cause false readings.
16. The rhythmic beating of veins can cause false readings.
17. The measurement position of the sensor and the blood pressure axis belt are in the same artery or blood vessel, which will cause false readings.
18. Patients with low blood pressure, severely low systolic blood pressure, severe anemia or hypothermia can cause false readings.
19. The patient's use of cardiotonics after the heart stops beating or the patient is shaking can cause false readings.
