Introduction:
A distilled water machine refers to a machine that prepares pure water by distillation. It can be divided into single and multiple distilled water. The water is distilled once, the non-volatile components remaining in the container are removed, and the volatile components enter the initial fraction of distilled water, usually only the middle part of the fraction is collected, accounting for about 60%. To obtain more pure water, alkaline potassium permanganate solution can be added to primary distilled water to remove organic matter and carbon dioxide; non-volatile acid can be added to make ammonia a non-volatile ammonium salt. Because glass contains a small amount of water-soluble components, when performing secondary or multiple distillations, quartz distillation vessels are required to obtain very pure water, and the resulting pure water should be stored in quartz or silver containers.

Working principle:
The working principle of the distilled water machine: the production is to boil the source water and make it evaporate and condense for recovery. It will consume a lot of heat energy and the cost will not be too low. Generated and condensed into distilled water, such as phenols, benzene compounds that are harmful to health, and even vaporizable mercury. In order to obtain pure water or ultrapure water, it is necessary to undergo two or three distillations and to add other means of purification.

Life application:
In the pharmaceutical industry, the role of distilled water is due to hypotonicity. Rinse the surgical wound with distilled water, so that the tumor cells that may remain on the wound surface absorb water, swell, rupture, necrosis, and lose their activity, and prevent tumors from growing on the wound surface.
