Surgery performed in the obstetrics and gynecology operating room generally requires very high cleanliness of surgical instruments. If the surgical instruments are not clean, the risk of infection for newborns and mothers is high. For this reason, the cleaning and disinfection of the gynecological operating table must be done in place!
Specific method: immediately remove fabrics such as sheets and duvet covers, place them in a moisture-resistant dirt bag, transfer them through the dirt corridor or take isolation measures, and transport them out of the operating room. When the operating bed, bed rails, etc. are not clearly contaminated, just wipe them with clean water; when they are contaminated by blood or body fluids, the contaminants should be removed first and then wiped with chlorine-containing disinfectant. Cleaning utensils in different areas should be dedicated to special areas. After use, they should be cleaned, disinfected, and dried in a special pool or room; wipes should be cleaned for each unit item (item surface) cleaned. Do not wipe two different medical surfaces with one wipe
