This list is calculated by the Institute of Health Indicators and Evaluation of the University of Washington. Researchers have compiled the "Medical Service Accessibility and Quality Index" (hereinafter referred to as "Medical Quality Index") in 195 countries and regions around the world from 1990 to 2015. The medical quality index is between 0 and 100 points, and the score depends on the cure rate and mortality of 32 preventable and curable diseases, such as cancer, heart disease, infectious diseases, and respiratory diseases. If the cure rate is high and the mortality rate is low, the score of the medical quality index is high, which means that the accessibility and quality of medical services in a country or region are good.
