What is the function of electrolyte analyzer?
The electrolyte analyzer is used to measure electrolytes in whole blood, plasma, serum, and urine samples. Electrolytes are cationic or anionic in body fluids. While electrolytes can be used to refer to any salt dissolved in water, in the medical field they refer to the four main electrolytes: sodium (Na+, potassium (K+), chlorine (Cl-), and bicarbonate (HCO3-).
