As many as eight gorillas at the San Diego Wildlife Park in California may have been infected with Coronary Disease, and one of them has been determined to be positive, marking the first case of primate infection. Two gorillas in the zoo started coughing last week, and the authorities tested one of them with a stool sample and confirmed that it was infected with the coronavirus. Since the gorillas are social animals, the remaining seven gorillas are likely to have been exposed to the virus and infected. These gorillas are believed to have been infected by an asymptomatic worker. They are currently under collective quarantine. Three of them have symptoms such as coughing, but the condition is not serious. They can eat and drink, and they should heal completely. Previously, there have been reports of other captive wild animals such as lions and tigers, as well as pet cats and pet dogs.
